Meet Dr. April Blake ND, LM
U.S.-trained Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Midwife
Dr April Blake is a U.S.-trained Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Midwife with nearly two decades of clinical experience. Her work focuses on education, prevention, lifestyle medicine, and helping clients better understand the patterns behind their symptoms.

April takes a whole-person approach, exploring areas such as nutrition, hormones, digestion, mood, sleep, stress, immune function, and emotional wellbeing. Her style is both science-informed and deeply personal, supporting clients to feel more informed, more connected to their bodies, and more confident in their next steps.

April received her BA from UC Santa Barbara and her ND and LM qualifications from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She has additional training in amino acid therapy and has experience supporting clients with mood, hormonal, prenatal, postpartum, and broader wellness concerns.

Through careful listening, health history, functional testing where appropriate, and personalised lifestyle guidance, she helps clients explore what may be contributing to how they feel. This may include nutrition, sleep, stress, hormones, inflammation patterns, nervous system regulation, and nutrient status.
The goal is not a quick fix, but a clearer understanding of your body and a practical plan that supports long-term wellbeing.
Infrared Sauna & PEMF Therapy
At our Edinburgh centre, we offer infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and PEMF sessions as part of our Self Care Suite.
These therapies are designed to support relaxation, recovery, circulation, and overall wellbeing. Many clients use them as part of a wider self-care routine, alongside rest, nutrition, movement, and personalised wellness support.
